Hi There! I’m Francesca

I have a BA from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture in Photography.

As an Archivist for artist Betye Saar, I conducted archival research for museum curators at The Getty Museum, LACMA, Fondazione Prada, among others in conjunction with major exhibitions of Saar’s work, and managed Saar’s archive in preparation for Getty Research Institute acquisition. I collaborated in the process of designing multiple artist monographs.

I am currently the Lead UX/UI Designer at Novig, merging my background in fine art and research. Making a positive impact by improving product function excites me.

As a UX/UI Designer, I’m enjoy understanding the needs of both users and stakeholders, and creating solutions that achieve business goals while creating an intuitive and accessible user experience.

I am an enthusiastic communicator and collaborator. I approach projects with both creativity and critical thinking, and am fastidious in task completion. I am a team player who works effectively to deliver high-quality, user-friendly digital products.

Some things I’ve been into recently: Ed Yong’s book on animal perception through senses, LA’s aqueduct system, traveling by ferry.
